Alexis Raptis Discusses How Last Season’s “Failure” Sparked a Deeper Hunger

Alexis Raptis is no stranger to the competitive CrossFit floor. In 2015, she finished just outside the podium with a fourth place finish in the Girls 16-17 division and followed it up taking second the very next year. Getting back to the CrossFit Games is a feat Raptis has been on ever since standing on that podium back in 2016 – but this time – as an individual.

“Years ago if you would have asked me when I planned on qualifying [for individual] I would have been like, ‘Oh right after I get out of the teen division’...but it’s been five years of building and growing and learning.”
