Dave Henry remembers the challenges of finding new clients in 2007. 

Nobody knew what CrossFit was and “online marketing wasn’t a thing yet,” said Henry, who opened CrossFit London in Ontario in 2007. 

His first gym was in his parents’ garage, where he fought for space with their lawn mower and car and mostly trained himself and his friends, and because he didn’t have much equipment, he had to get creative.
