
Janelle Hynes
Janelle is a graduate of Transylvania University with a bachelors of science in Biology where she played collegiate softball for 4 years (graduated 2020). After graduation she became involved in behavioral therapy work as a registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and worked with athletes on the autism spectrum. In January 2021 Janelle began pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree as well as a masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at Logan University. Her research interests include: • Identifying how spinal adjustment (high velocity, low amplitude AKA HVLA thrusts) influence physical health and cognitive function • Identifying how a spinal manipulation can impact interoceptive signaling in individuals of all backgrounds to increase their quality of life • Analyzing neuromuscular functions pre and post chiropractic care (including modalities outside of the spinal adjustment) to determine long- and short-term effects on an individual’s central nervous system
