Captain Obvious: Same Movement

September 27, 2022 by

People are so quick to want to switch things up, always doing new or different movements.

I have been doing the SLEDtember challenge at my gym. Averaging around 1,500m of sled drags a week, up to 5,400m total for the month.

Guess what? My legs have gotten noticeably stronger and my strength endurance has also improved.

Progressive overload has been around for decades because it works.

4-12 week training progressions should be apart of what you do no matter what training methodology you follow.

Think doing the same movement(s) for multiple weeks is boring?

You know what isn’t boring? PRs 🙂
