SAY WHAT?

Ok. This isn’t an official hint, it’s more like a clue, and to be honest we think it’s a lot better than what Dave Castro usually posts to Instagram — remember the Koi fish?

SO WHAT’S THE HINT?

Let us introduce you to the CrossFit Bike, which was just announced yesterday. No this is not like an Assault Bike. It’s a real bike with multiple gears and “3-inch tires that can handle any terrain.” CrossFit partnered with Seven Cycles in Boston to custom make this beast.

I’M NOT CONVINCED.

OK, fair enough. Let us give you three reasons.

Reason number 1. In Greg Glassman’s own words about the bike: “We’ve got a fitness that from the start the idea was you go into a myriad of potential physical realities but you’re only going to show up with one fitness…can that be done with a bicycle? My answer is yes.” Hmmm, sounds like a description of the CrossFit Games if you ask us.

Reason number 2. The CrossFit Games has seen bicycling before but not since the 2012 CrossFit Games when it was included in the Pendleton 1 and 2 Event.

Reason number 3. Madison, WI is home to 200 miles of bike trails. They even boast having more bikes than cars. Madison is so into cycling that the League of American Bicyclists bestowed the city with Platinum status in 2015.

Long story short, if we’re wrong and there’s no biking event at the CrossFit Games, and you call us out on social, we’ll give you something cool. No joke. It will be worth it.

THE UNFORTUNATE NEWS.

For any athlete looking to get a jump on the competition, the bike retails for $7950. But if you do buy it, please please send us a note.
