More on Coach Greg Glassman’s trip to DC: “I’m not trying to put soda out of business, I just want them out of the health sciences.” An Idaho affiliate caught some vandals ripping out trees in their security footage, posted it to Facebook and now a community hunt is underway. Can’t make this up, Dimitry Klokov races a dude up a sand dune in Dubai with a 132 pound barbell on his back. When you’re on the red carpet for the Emmy’s, it makes sense to do a back flip in a red dress and heels, especially when you’re Jessie Graff, ninja warrior and gymnast.
Strong is Beautiful — If you didn’t read the Morning Chalk Up yesterday – sad face – then perhaps you missed our new video featuring five CrossFit athletes and Olympic Weightlifter Morghan King discussing how CrossFit and weightlifting are redefining beauty and body image.
Cerebral Palsy, CrossFit Coach, Current Cancer Fighter — If you’ve never seen this photo before, look at it. That’s Steph Hammerman – AKA “The Hammer.” There’s literally little we could say to do this interview between her and Julie Foucher justice, so give it a listen. “I really truly believe that two things helped me beat cancer as fast as I could. And the two things are complete support, and @CrossFit. CrossFit 100% made all the difference because I was already healthy beforehand. I had cancer, but I was healthy, and I took care of my body and I knew something wasn’t right.”
Looking for a Good Charity to Sponsor at Your Affiliate? – Check this out. One or two affiliates together could make this a huge success.
