QUOTE OF THE DAY
“So do me the honor of living your life like you really mean it. Go out and conquer your goals, do things that you’re a little scared of, make awesome memories that give you cool stories to tell, and love, love as much as possible, freely and genuinely. Love people, love activities, love scenes and ideas, and material things, and songs, and just love as much as you can. Enjoy your life you only get one, and value your time, you never know how much of it you really have.” — Pat Padgett, deceased but forever a member of Vagabond CrossFit
OUR SOLDIERS IN QATAR NEED A HAND.
WHAT’S UP?
Yesterday, one of our longtime readers, TSgt Randolph Welch, emailed us asking for a little help. He’s based at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and noticed the state of disrepair of CrossFit Undisclosed, the official affiliate on base.
HOW BAD WE TALKING?
Ever hard the saying “it’s held together by duct tape and glue”?
TSgt Welch put it this way, “Our box is entirely outside, we have benches made from pallets, and dip bars held together with duct tape.”
CrossFit Undisclosed is entirely volunteer operated and completely free so they’re a little short on cash right now.
HOW CAN I HELP?
So glad you asked. They set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for repairs and replacements.
Oh and TSgt Welch has agreed to match every dollar with a burpee. Get down and give us 100 Welch, cause the first check’s coming from us.

STORY SERIES: How has CrossFit helped you achieve a goal?
“In August of 2015, at 5 feet tall and almost 200 pounds, I felt horrible and was in bad shape; I was going through a divorce and was tired all the time, stressed out. I found CrossFit a few months later and made the goal to be healthier than I was in high school by my 40th birthday (Nov 2016). I lost 60 pounds, 14″ off my waist, and my own doctor didn’t recognize me! I gained a family in Flaming Gorge CrossFit too, best thing that ever happened to me. I also beat my scoliosis problems on a daily basis.” — Amy Rasdall, Flaming Gorge CrossFit in Rock Springs, WY
