The popular Mid-Atlantic based SuperFit Games are coming to San Diego. Sean Sweeney had to withdraw from Legion Of Beasts Games due to wrist and hip injuries but still managed to have some fun with a 155 pound single arm snatch. Alethea Boon is competing at the preliminaries for the Commonwealth Games today. Camille Leblanc-Bazinet might actually be crying from these leg presses. This is what Tia-Clair Toomey is eating on a daily basis. Julie Foucher redid Double Grace from the 2014 CrossFit Games and beat her time by 37 seconds.
ON AMAZON PRIME — CrossFit’s newest documentary “Ogar: Will of Steel” is now available on DVD or to stream on Amazon Prime.

Have you meet Terry Garrett? He’s blind and he could be using all the excuses in the world as to why not to show up, or do box jumps, running or wall balls. Seriously, the guy runs and does box jumps! But Terry doesn’t use any of those excuses. Oh yeah and before CrossFit, the guy was doing triathlons. Denver Box Life sent us the story and we just had to share.

One in three third graders are overweight or obese, and one New Mexico family practice doctor has taken notice. Dr. Anti Nelly Soto Hernandez and her husband went to the school district to start the Firehawks Fit Little Beasts, an optional after-school program based on CrossFit’s methodology that will also teach kids about nutrition, hydration, and the importance of sleep. This year, they’re starting at one elementary school meetings twice a month with plans to expand to all ten schools next. If it wasn’t already obvious, the Hernandez’s are CrossFitters and they WOD at CrossFit Hellbox.
ROUNDUP — The Australian city of Port Lincoln welcomed their first CrossFit affiliate to town, CrossFit Eyre. Italy and France got their own official Facebook pages so fans can follow in their own language. This summer, CrossFit Rebuild in Cambridge, Canada launched heir first 12-week PhysioFitness Cancer Rehab Program designed specifically for patients and their families going through treatments and post treatment.
