Valentine’s Day is a day about loving a significant other and if you’re single, your best friends. The day is dedicated to other people but why can’t Valentine’s Day be a day to appreciate yourself?
Whether you’re in a relationship or flying solo this is the day to really love yourself. I’m not talking about buying one of those fancy festive lattes or treating yourself to a night of desserts; I’m talking about truly appreciating and respecting yourself the right way. Here are some GamePlan A-approved ways to appreciate and take care of yourself this Valentine’s Day.
I find the whole concept of CrossFit fascinating and invigorating. Soon after tackling my first WOD at Brick Grand Central, I was hooked. Each and every workout, I push my body to go farther and harder than I even knew was possible. I love lifting heavier weights, getting an inch closer to that perfect handstand push-up (yes, that’s a thing), and the camaraderie—well—that’s a whole other ballgame.
