A LUMBER WHAT?
A Lumberjill is a female lumberjack who competes in the male dominated sport of chopping wood for time — or as the Aussie’s put it, the “Wimbledon of Woodchopping.” To be fair, it’s a little more than just chopping down trees — there’s the underhand chop, ax throw and log roll — but you get the point: axes and wood. Flannel is optional, we think.

OK. WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS?
So glad you asked. The owner of Predation CrossFit in Spokane, WA is one of these lumberjills and she’s pretty damn good at it.

HOW GOOD WE TALKING?
Erin Lavoie holds three world records, including the Guinness World Record for the most Christmas trees chopped down in two minutes. She cut down 27.

You better believe we just started following her on Insta and so should you.
