News broke last month that the New York based meal delivery service Kettlebell Kitchen abruptly went out of business. The news was communicated to customers via email. The company, who’s legal name is High Quality Nutrition Company LLC, filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy on November 16, 2019, the Morning Chalk Up has learned.

The company was present in court on Tuesday, December 17 according to documents obtained through PACER, the Public Access to Court Electronic Records, where Judge Stuart M. Berstein granted a creditor’s motion for relief, which essentially allows them to collect the remaining assets to settle any outstanding debts.

  • According to the court report, KBK is more than $4.3 million in debt.

Full disclosure: Morning Chalk Up has outstanding invoices unpaid by KBK.
