THE STORY
Apparently two ladies and a baby have been targeting Phoenix CrossFit affiliates for some old fashioned thievery using a baby to help them lift cell phones from purses and bags.
IS THIS A JOKE?
Sadly, no. They’ve already knocked up five affiliates so far: Copperhead CrossFit, Sol CrossFit, Spark CrossFit, 8th Street CrossFit and Back Alley CrossFit. While just about every affiliate we’ve been to felt very safe, like being with your family, it might be a good idea to double check the batteries on your security cams.
HOW DOES THE HEIST GO DOWN?
Two ladies walk into the box. One of them asks questions about joining the affiliate while the one with the baby sits down and grabs what she can quickly find.
HAVE THEY CAUGHT THESE BANDITS YET?
Authorities are still on the hunt, but the good news is that they were caught on a security camera so it’s only a matter of time.
