It’s not what you think.

Chick-fil-A restaurant is branching out into the meal kit business. Starting this month, they’ll have Chick-fil-A meal kits for sale inside 150 of their Atlanta restaurants.

Ummm yes, but why?

Trying to keep up with the competition at home meal kits have created, they’re the first fast food restaurant to try this. You don’t even have to get out of your car. You’ll be able to get them in the drive-thru.

Is it the same menu?

No, not really. The meal kits are similar to the type you’d get from Blue Apron or Hello Fresh. Chick-fil-A will start with five different meal kits to choose from: chicken parmesan, chicken enchiladas, crispy Dijon chicken, pan-roasted chicken, and chicken flatbread. Yes, there are photos.

Ohhhh, these are like real meals!

Now you get it. And, they’ll cost $15.89, can be prepared in 30 minutes or less, and are designed to feed two people. And, if you’re a die-hard Chick-fil-A fan, now you can grab a meal kit or two on a Saturday and take ’em home for Sunday dinner when you’re really jonesin’ for your favorite chicken on the go.
