The Reykjavik CrossFit Championship online qualifier officially kicked off today. Three individual workouts will be used to select the 30 male, 30 female and 10 teams who will qualify to compete in Reykjavik May 3-5 a the Laugardalshöll Sports Center. 

Both individual and team athletes will perform the same workouts. All athletes have until Sunday, February 17 at 11:59 PM GMT/3:59 PM PT to submit their scores along with videos. 

There has been no word whether special invites to bypass the online qualifier will be offered to select athletes. 

Tickets are now on sale for the event.

WOD #1

Part A

For time:
21 Alt. dumbell snatches (22.5kg/15kg)
21 box jump-overs (24”/20”)
15 Alt. dumbell snatches
15 box jump-overs
9 Alt. dumbell snatches
9 box jump-overs
27 dumbbell squats
27 burpee box jump-overs
18 dumbbell squats
18 burpee box jump-overs
45 dumbbell box step overs

1Time Cap: 12 Minutes

Part B 

On the 15 minutes mark start
8 squat cleans 85/50kg.
6 squat cleans 100/65kg.
4 squat cleans 125/80kg.
2 squat cleans 145/90kg.

Time cap: 5 minutes

WOD #2

Part A
Three rounds for time:
75 double-unders
15 power snatch (50/kg35kg)

Time cap: 6 minutes

Part B

On the 10 minutes mark:
6 minutes AMRAP
10 back squats (80kg/55kg)
5 bar muscle-ups 

WOD #3

20 minutes AMRAP
