How COVID Regulations Have Made Gyms Better

“Starting tomorrow, all members are required to download an app to register for classes in advance. Classes will now be capped at just eight athletes, all of whom must remain in a designated workout area on the floor, clearly marked with tape. Oh, and if you don’t show up, there’s a $20 no show fee.”

Had an affiliate owner made that announcement to his athletes back in March, a community revolt may have ensued.

Then COVID-19 happened.

Surprise: Three months into the new order and pandemic-related changes forced upon us have had surprisingly positive outcomes, both for the clients and the business, say affiliate owners -- even the designated workout boxes.
