Katrin Davidsdottir’s championship resolve was on full display during stage one of the CrossFit Games.

The two-time fittest woman on earth dug her heels in after a slow start in the opening two events to mount a furious rally on day two and finish fourth overall, earning herself a sixth consecutive top five finish at the Games. In a few weeks she’ll have a chance for her 4th career podium a the CrossFit Games.

One big thing: Despite being overshadowed by Tia-Clair Toomey’s current historic run at the top, Davidsdottir is also in the midst of one of the greatest runs ever at the CrossFit Games, and has another prime opportunity to further deepen her resume and elevate her place within the sport.
