Many Affiliates Reconsider Disaffiliation in Light of HQ Changes

In the aftermath of the Greg Glassman scandal and fallout in the spring, more than 1,350 gyms around the world declared their intention to disaffiliate, including many long-time, well-known affiliate owners. Nearly four months after Glassman officially resigned as CEO and began a months-long process of selling the company he founded more than 20 years ago, a clearer picture emerges.
These 1,350 affiliates fall into four buckets: Gone and haven’t come back, waiting to decide once their affiliation is up for renewal, remaining an affiliate but rebranding with the CrossFit name, and decided to remain with the company.
