The Open Repeat and What History Tells Us Could be in Store this Season

A hallmark of the CrossFit Games Open each year is the repeat workout. 

Over the past decade Dave Castro has continually dusted off an Open workout from a previous year to use as a measuring stick for the community in fulfilling the “test, retest,” element of programming for a global cohort that has traditionally been a pillar of the CrossFit methodology. 

The 2021 Open will be unique in that it serves as the opening chapter of a new ownership group rebuilding a sport and community that has been hampered by a multitude of factors in the past calendar year.
