Recently in the Hopper email from CrossFit, there was an article titled, The Judge’s job. It read in part, “while judges are there to facilitate and create a fair competition, they ultimately share these responsibilities with the athlete. As stated in CrossFit Rulebook section 1.19, athletes are responsible for counting and completing all required reps.” Morning Chalk Up’s Lauren Kalil sits down with Dex Hopkins and Justin LoFranco to discuss whether athletes should be accountable for counting their own reps, the athlete/referee responsibilities in other sports, and who ultimately should be in charge for reps at each stage of the game.
