How to Attack the “Olympic Total” Games Workout
Finally the day I’ve been waiting for – an Olympic Weightlifting Total at the CrossFit Games! But of course…there is a twist with the 20-second clock. Many athletes might see this as a disadvantage but if you know how to use the clock correctly, it can actually aid you in this workout. There are many factors to consider here and many unknowns, including what workouts you will be doing in the days and hours leading up to this event. But if you go in with some strategy based on what you do know and can control, you’ll more than likely be pleased with your results.
Whether you are an athlete doing this workout at Games or if you’re following along and performing it from home, I have a few tips to help you ensure you put up the biggest total possible.
