Final Round-Up
The 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games: Fittest Woman on Earth, Fittest Man on Earth, and Fittest Team on Earth were named on Sunday afternoon, after a hard fought four days of workouts. Your champions are Laura Horvath, Jeffrey Adler, and Team CrossFit Invictus.
The drama intensified on Sunday when Roman Khrennikov stepped out onto the competition floor for Test 11, limping and no longer wearing the leader’s jersey, attempting to do heavy rope double unders on one leg. It is suspected Khrennikov injured his left foot during Test 10, potentially breaking a bone and having a torn ligament.
The Coliseum was electric as spectators stood, giving Khrennikov a four-minute standing ovation, followed by a second one as he exited the competition floor. He deservably won Spirit of the Games during the award ceremony.
- “I want to be a hero for my son and have him see me fight to the end,” said Khrennikov, during an interview following the workout.
Horvath, in her post-competition interview, made reference to the new ‘Barbie’ movie and body image:
- “I just want to prove that my body, whatever it looks like can do these amazing things and move things from A to B and run fast and lift heavy and all those things and I’m just very excited that females, little girls and also teenagers look up to all these amazing girls that are here because our bodies are not us, we are what is inside and it’s amazing what our bodies can do.”
One big number: 1 – Adler is the first Canadian champion since 2007 and first international male champion since 2009. Horvath is the first European woman to win the Games since 2016.

Putting in Work, Every Day
Tia-Clair is a bonafide legend. On top of being the greatest CrossFit athlete of all time, she’s incredibly humble, and recently completed one of the greatest endurance challenges out there: pregnancy. Tia shares how she stays on her game in this new phase of life as a mom.
- I’m now more mindful of time- I didn’t know how much I had before!
- I can only control the work I put in and apply myself every day.
- Spending time outdoors helps me relax and recover.
- Simplify with one bag to carry the essentials for both me and my baby. I put the YETI tote to work daily.
Do it all and carry it all with YETI Tote Bags.
