Recently I found myself in western North Carolina, specifically the city of Concord. I was referred by a friend/affiliate owner Coty Bradburn to drop into CrossFit Vitality. So upon my arrival I drove directly to Coty’s gym CrossFit Mountain Island for a quick workout and to see what all the hype was about regarding CrossFit Vitality.
How to Drop-In
As usual I searched the web for the schedule, coaches, and other additional information regarding drop-ins. Their website is all-inclusive and I was able to navigate to the correct page to contact them regarding my Drop-In. Once everything was scheduled, I was looking forward to see this place in person. As I pulled into the parking lot I wasn’t sure if I was in the correct location because of the sheer size of the building, so outside the normal gyms I visit.
The space was overwhelming over 50,000 sq ft, the owner Steve Pinkerton built this place from the ground up, a utopia of fitness, wellness, nutrition, and recovery all in one place. Check out this Virtual Tour. They have literally everything Rogue Fitness has to offer. On my tour they introduced me to the “Pain Cave” where personal training clients have their own complete space to train, complete with a full rig and all the accessories. What gym do you know that has 100 yards of turf?
They have been affiliated since 2009 and have over 600 members of all ages and fitness levels. Additionally, they offer CrossFit, Personal Training, ēvoFIT (Bootcamp), CrossFit Kids, Teen Programs, Performance Academy, and nutrition programs. The building also houses several other tenants to enhance the overall experience here at Vitality Fitness. They have a huge retail space that offers everything you need and then some.
Every year they host the “Vitality Throwdown” with two other local affiliates each fall and use the monies for a local charity. Overall words cannot describe this facility nor the passion Steve has for the sport of fitness and helping others achieve their goals…….this place is by far the nicest gym I have ever dropped into!
