2020 CrossFit Games Day One Livestream Draws Nearly 4.5 Million Views

Day one came and went in this unique CrossFit Games. For the first time in CrossFit Games history, due to COVID restrictions, spectators can only watch the final stage of the CrossFit Games season from the comfort of their own home via the livestream and the numbers show it.
Total Views By Streaming Service
- Twitch: 8,400
- Facebook: 1,163,300
- YouTube: 3,198,866
- Total Views Across All Services: 4,370,566
As of day 1, total streaming views are already creeping up towards the halfway mark of last year’s 11,661,480 total views across four days of competition and there are still two more days of streaming to go. These numbers don’t include stats from CBS’ Pluto.Tv channel.
The Big Picture: In these unprecedented times, where spectating at the Games has turned from standing in the stadiums to sitting on the couch, the new format for the Games has already boosted the livestream numbers and the trend is likely to keep moving forward as we progress through the weekend.
