After my convo with world record-holder sprinter, Dalilah Muhammad, I’m feeling faster but #NotThatFit overall. There are still two components of fitness to master, and today I’m diving into balance with Team USA gymnast, Kara Eaker.

At the world championships in 2018 and 2019, Eaker qualified for the finals of the balance beam, one of only a handful of American gymnasts in history to appear in back-to-back finals at the global level. This year, the 18-year-old was supposed to compete in Tokyo, but with the coronavirus delaying the Olympics by a year, she was forced to take a break, something she hasn’t done since she started the sport as a toddler.
