Arielle Loewen’s Workout of the Week

Today’s workout of the week is programmed by 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games rookie Arielle Loewen. Loewen burst onto the scene this year after winning the 2021 Granite Games Semifinal to punch her very first ticket to Madison after five attempts as a Regional athlete. At the Games she would finish 14th. The full-time mother, wife and part-time CrossFitter just competed at the Rogue Invitational where she placed 13th.
Every 3:00 for 10 rounds:
12 Cal Ski
8 Thrusters (115/85)
4 Ring Muscle ups
Time cap: 30 minutes
Some advice from Arielle: “The goal of this workout is to go as fast as possible so there is rest before you go again. The goal is to minimize transition time by going straight from the ski, to the bar and straight to the ring muscle ups without getting chalk. Minimize transitions and catch your breath on the rest. The goal is to have a solid minute and a half rest after the work is completed. If you find that you’re still working past the two minute mark adjust the work out as needed. The stimulus is a sprint but also can you hang on for 30 minutes.”
