Is Failure a Prerequisite for Success?

People who are successful, the athletes who win, the business people who succeed, the students who score high marks, do not sit back at the end of the day and attribute their success to the fact that they are winners. Previous “wins'' do not guarantee future ones, any athlete will tell you this.

What makes standing on a podium so rewarding is not the achievement itself, it is the reflection on the effort and patience required to get there. No one wins a gold medal and thinks to themselves while their anthem plays, “I deserve this because I am a winner.”

Success becomes a pattern not because of an intrinsic personality trait, but because a solid groundwork of effort and striving has been laid. A groundwork that includes a great deal of failure.
