Josh Bridges Recaps 2016 Murph, Emphasizes Importance for CrossFit Community

Each Memorial Day — CrossFit affiliates and athletes take on the hero workout, Murph.

As thousands of people chip away at the pull-ups, push-ups and air squats, we’re reminded of why this workout matters. Like every hero WOD — you’re doing it for someone who no longer has the luxury to participate, as they’ve made the ultimate sacrifice.

Morning Chalk Up’s Lauren Kalil sat down with Bridges to recap his 2016 Murph experience, what the workout means to him, and even discussed some exciting upcoming life events on the horizon for him.

    For Time
    1 mile Run
    100 Pull-Ups
    200 Push-Ups
    300 Air Squats
    1 mile Run
    All with a Weight Vest (20/14 lb)
