The six-time reigning Fittest Woman on Earth continues her journey through her first-ever pregnant CrossFit Open, and continues to do it Rx (as written).

In her newest YouTube video posted after the workout, Toomey says, “I’m 154 (pounds) now, roughly. Whereas, I compete at like 138, normally. So, little bit heavier.”

Toomey said she was aiming to lift 175 (pounds) in the 23.2B thruster, but wanted to set her ego aside and listen to her body. Apparently, her body said ‘light weight’, because Toomey ended up logging a score of 195 pounds (88.4kg), which doesn’t include the growing baby she lifted along with it.

Tia-Clair Toomey, Unofficial Ranking in 2023 CrossFit Open as of Wednesday, March 1:

  • 23.1: 180 reps, 13319th
  • 23.2A: 136 reps, 5600th
  • 23.2B: 195 pounds, 328th
  • Overall: 3795th

Regarding Quarterfinals, Toomey said, “I physically wouldn’t even be able to do some of the movements,” as she is 29 to 30 weeks pregnant now, and the online competition taking place in three weeks will likely including movements like GHD Sit-ups and Bar Muscle-ups.

When asked if she would consider competing at the 2023 CrossFit Games by special invite, Toomey replied, “Man, yeah, I would want to. I’d have to pass it by Shane. I don’t know if he would be okay with it, but for me, being out on the competition floor would just be amazing…I would have to have a serious think about it.”

Your move, Boz.
