Coaches: What If It Isn’t Just About Getting Athletes to Work Harder?

My dad is turning 80 in a couple of months. After a 12-year break, he’s started training at my gym, CrossFit New England, again. 

The last time he was a member was short-lived - he started too fast, went too hard, and ultimately got demoralized. 

  • It took him over a decade to walk back through the doors. But he did, and it’s been amazing. We’re connecting more, and he’s getting stronger, fitter, and finding a strong social group again.
