2025 CrossFit Games Ticket Sales

Last week, CrossFit announced it would hold a “48-Hour Flash Sale” on select CrossFit Games tickets, offering a 40% discount off the original price.

  • The post read: “48-Hour Flash Sale — Get 40% Off CrossFit Games Tickets! For the next 48 HOURS ONLY, grab your tickets to the 2025 CrossFit Games at an unbelievable 40% OFF! Now through Friday, May 23, at 12 p.m. PT.”

When the sale was announced, we recorded the number of tickets available in the select sections on the seating map for the MVP Arena as a baseline for the total number of tickets to be sold during the 48-hour window.

Some details: Based on our analysis of Ticketmaster’s seating map, just over 2,700 tickets were available in the select sections offered in the sale.

  • Note: The 40% off sale did not include the lower and upper bowl sections around the finish line area.

With this discount, the ticket price for the lowest-priced option dropped from $324.80 to $199.80. The cost for the best available seats decreased from $796.35 to $482.75.

How Did the Sale Go?

By comparing the total number of tickets in the blue sections above to the post-sale seating availability for those same sections, we can estimate that CrossFit sold approximately 523 tickets in total. (See the chart below for additional details.)

While CrossFit initially promoted the sale as a “48-Hour Flash Sale,” the discount code actually remained valid through Sunday morning on May 25, which was twice the expected length of the sale.

During the original 48-hour flash sale period, we estimate that 503 tickets were sold, indicating that around 20 tickets were sold during the extended period in which the discount code was valid.

After the sale, approximately 2,200 tickets remain available in the sections included in the flash sale.

Based on our observations of the Ticketmaster page, approximately 3,600 tickets are available across all sections of MVP Arena as of May 26 at 3 p.m. ET.

  • Worth noting: The marketing materials that CrossFit provided to potential vendors for the 2025 CrossFit Games claimed that with over 13,000 ticketed seats, the MVP Arena is the “largest in CrossFit Games history.”

In 2024, CrossFit Games tickets sold out in 4.5 hours, which, according to CrossFit, was a “record-breaking ticket sell-through.”

The blue dots represent available seats. The numbers above do not include reseller tickets, which are represented on the map above by pink dots.

Now What?

CrossFit’s announcement stated that this sale was a “one-time offer,” which likely means the community will not see another large-scale ticket sale before the Games kick off in Albany in early August.

  • CrossFit also mentioned it was a “48-hour sale.” Since that was not the case, what’s to say there won’t be another sale in June or July as the Games get closer?

Although this sale has ended, discount options are still available.

As we noted here, Games athletes, both individuals and teams, were provided discount codes from CrossFit that allow fans to get 20% off their tickets and put some money in their favorite athlete’s pocket.

CrossFit communicated to athletes:

  • “We will keep track of how many times the code is used, and you’ll earn $50 USD for each ticket sold — we will pay you for your efforts after the 2025 CrossFit Games.”

To utilize the athlete/team discount codes, fans must obtain a code and use it on this website, not through Ticketmaster. (No codes here, ask your favorite athlete or team.)

There are also seats reserved for athletes.

In our conversations with both individual and team athletes, we were informed that individuals receive up to six tickets at a discounted rate, while teams are reserved eight tickets. That would amount to approximately 340 tickets currently allocated for athletes.

The athletes we spoke with indicated that the discounts for athletes are as follows:

  • Individuals:  Up to six total tickets, but at varying discounted rates, four tickets at $320, and then an additional two at 50% off.
  • Teams: Up to two tickets per teammate at 50% off each.

It’s possible that if athletes do not use their entire allotment, those tickets will go on sale to the public before the Games.

What If You Paid Full Price Earlier?

In Dave Castro’s Week In Review video, posted on May 26, CrossFit’s director of sport addressed a comment from a viewer who echosed the sentiment of many out there:

  • “I feel cheated, the Games tickets went 40% off after so many people, including myself, paid full price the day they went on sale to support CrossFit. Is there anything happening with people like myself paying hundreds of dollars more than the tickets are now?”

Castro noted that he had seen several comments similar to this one and stated that those commenters should email him at dave@crossfit.com so he can chat with them.
