2025 Rogue Invitational – The Roster So Far

The 2025 Rogue Invitational is a little more than a month away, returning to Aberdeen, Scotland, at P&J Live Arena from October 31 to November 2.
- The seventh iteration of the Rogue Invitational will continue the tradition of highlighting top CrossFit and strongman athletes during a weekend of competition and community.
The roster of elite CrossFit athletes competing in the event is being announced, and those not receiving a direct invitation have just completed the online qualifier.
Key Takeaways:
- Rogue has historically chosen at least 10 athletes, and more often 15, through its points system (more on that soon).
- For 2025, they have already invited nine women and nine men, without yet announcing the top podium athletes from the 2025 Games and 2024 Rogue Invitational, indicating that the athlete rosters could be larger this year.
- Rogue’s online qualifier, “The Q,” usually selects five athletes to directly qualify for the Rogue Invitational; submissions for qualifiers closed on Sunday, September 7.
- Rogue’s event remains an “invitational,” and they reserve the right to invite anyone they choose to compete, with any field size.
Remind me: Rogue held “The Q,” its annual online qualifier for the Invitational, this past weekend.
- Traditionally, five athletes from each side earn a spot directly into the live competition, while 15 others receive direct invitations from Rogue. Those invitations are usually extended to the CrossFit Games podium finishers, along with other standout names from the season.
Note: Because it’s an Invitational, Rogue has full control over the field. The exact roster – including how many qualify through “The Q” and how many are invited – has not yet been announced.
In recent years, Rogue also created the “Rogue Points System” to rank top athletes across the Sport of Fitness. While these rankings influence the invitation list, they are not the only factor.
- Points are awarded based on results from the Rogue Invitational, CrossFit Games, Open, Quarterfinals, Semifinals (formerly Sanctionals), TYR Wodapalooza, and the World Fitness Project. You can find the full rankings and details on Rogue’s system available here.
Below, you’ll find the athletes who appear to have qualified and been invited as of today.
Unofficial Online Qualifiers
The top 10 qualifiers for both men and women are listed below. The submission window closed at 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 7. These rankings are unofficial for now, as the Rogue Invitational Team continues to review scores and video submissions.
Men

10 | Travis Mayer | 269 | 340 reps | 8:56 | 135 reps |
On the men’s side, Saxon Panchik, who is also currently ranked 17th on the Rogue Points System, placed first overall in “The Q,” tying with Uldis Upenieks for points. (Panchik won the tiebreaker with his placement on Workout 1).
- Both Panchik and Upenieks earned a workout win. Panchik is ranked first in Workout 2, and Upenieks is ranked first in Workout 3.
If the 2025 Rogue Invitational follows its usual trend, the athletes invited from “The Q,” as the leaderboard currently stands, are Saxon Panchik, Uldis Upenieks, Fabian Hermans, Enrico Zenoni, and Tom Kingdon.
Women
RANK | COMPETITOR | POINTS | WORKOUT 1 | WORKOUT 2 | WORKOUT 3 |
1 | Elisa Fuliano | 295 | 387 reps | 7:42 | 146 reps |
2 | Paige Powers | 293 | 352 reps | 7:13 | 157 reps |
3 | Matilde Garnes | 292 | 366 reps | 8:41 | 150 reps |
4 | Aline Wirz | 284 | 352 reps | 8:43 | 133 reps |
5 | Jamie Simmonds | 275 | 345 reps | 10:28 | 159 reps |
6 | Jennifer Muir | 274 | 356 reps | 10:03 | 130 reps |

10 | Pernille Kristensen | 270 | 355 reps | 9:38 | 128 reps |
Elisa Fuliano is on top of the women’s leaderboard, two points in front of Paige Powers.
- Fuliano did not compete in the 2025 CrossFit Games season, but she did podium at two competitions that hosted CrossFit Games In-Person Qualifiers: the French Throwdown, where she finished first, and Wodland Fest, where she placed second.
Paige Powers recently won the Challenger Division at the World Fitness Project Tour Stop II after returning earlier this year to elite competition following the birth of her daughter.
Based on the current “Q” leaderboard, Fuliano, Powers, Matilde Garnes, Aline Wirz, and Jamie Simmonds are the top five and have most likely qualified for Aberdeen.
Jennifer Muir is only one point away from a qualifying position. This is the second time in two weeks that Muir has narrowly missed qualifying for an elite competition.
- Muir was just one point shy of qualifying for the World Fitness Project Finals as well. She hails from Glasgow, Scotland, a few hours’ drive from the Rogue Invitational in Aberdeen.
Invited Athletes (So Far)
Rogue has started announcing their invited athletes for the 2025 Rogue Invitational on its Instagram page.
Here are the athletes announced for the men’s and women’s divisions so far, including their announcement dates and their rankings on the Rogue Points System.

Colten Mertens | 9/2/2025 | 21 | 1,776.99 |
The first athlete announcement was made on September 2, featuring Colten Mertens, who is currently ranked 21st in Rogue’s Points System. Since then, a pattern has emerged: Rogue seems to be working upward from 21st place on both the men’s and women’s rankings as they roll out their rosters.
- Henrik Haapalainen is also expected to return after suffering an Achilles tear during an event at the 2024 Rogue Invitational.
As discussed earlier, Rogue typically invites 15 athletes and adds five more from the online qualifier. However, this year, they have already announced three men and six women ranked outside the top 15. This suggests we might see a larger field in Scotland, with numbers already surpassing their usual limit.

On the women’s side, the first announcement came on September 2, featuring Grace Walton, who is ranked 22nd in Rogue’s Points System.
Joining her are Lucy Campbell and Olivia Kerstetter, the second- and third-place finishers from the 2025 CrossFit Games. Campbell starts the season with added momentum, having also won TYR Wodapalooza Miami this past January.
Worth noting: As in past years, the full men’s and women’s podiums from the 2025 CrossFit Games are expected to receive invites.
- On the women’s side, Lucy Campbell and Olivia Kerstetter are already confirmed, leaving only Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr — eight-time Fittest on Earth and four-time Rogue Invitational champion — yet to be announced.
- For the men, the entire podium is anticipated: reigning Fittest on Earth Jayson Hopper, runner-up Ricky Garard, and third-place finisher James Sprague.
