The Crown Series Expands Into Italy, Joins Fall Series Italian Showdown

October 6, 2025 by

For the first time, The Crown Series is heading to Italy and partnering with one of the longest-standing CrossFit-licensed events, the Fall Series Italian Showdown.

Remind me: The Crown Series is a passion project of The Progrm’s founder, John Singleton. Over the years, the brand has grown into a series of competitions across Europe, culminating in a grand finale event on the island of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, held at the Nike castle.

The competitions host some of the best teens in the fitness world and serve as a way to gain experience, make connections, and stacking core memories.

  • “Since its very first edition, The Crown has been more than a competition,” Singleton told Morning Chalk Up. “It started as a way to bring together young athletes from across the globe, giving them a stage to showcase their passion for fitness, but also a space to learn, grow, and create lifelong friendships.”

Over the years, The Crown’s events have become landmarks for the next generation, a community where athletes support each other and share unforgettable experiences.

Last year, The Crown Series partnered with Wodland Fest Málaga and the Wodla Gothenburg Throwdown, highlighting emerging teenage athletes. Now, the series will expand to Milan, Italy, with the Fall Series Showdown taking place from December 12 to 14.

The details: This event welcomes athletes of all skill levels to compete, challenge themselves, and connect with their peers. Whether their goal is to push boundaries, prepare for upcoming competitions, or simply be part of something bigger than their local community, The Crown offers a unique opportunity.

  • Like every year, Singleton strives to give young athletes memorable experiences and build relationships that can last beyond the competition weekend.

While adults have numerous chances to train together daily and compete in local and elite events, teenage athletes often miss out on this opportunity.

  • “Our focus is experience over competition. Are they interacting? Are they learning to compete in a friendly environment? Kids don’t have enough to connect like adults, and we are trying to find more ways for them to do that,” Singleton told us in an interview earlier this year.

Currently, there are 10 places available for boys and ten for girls, and registration is now open.

  • “Be part of history,” Singleton said. “Join us in Milan, where fitness meets friendship, and create memories that will last well beyond the competition.”
