It’s Lifting Season: R.A.D and Rogue Fitness Collab for Tin Slingers Challenge
Last weekend, R.A.D athletes (along with other elites, local gym members, and the brand’s superfans) gathered in three gyms across different parts of the world to kick off the Tin Slingers Challenge.
The event coincided with the launch of two new colorways, as R.A.D strives to meet the demand from its loyal athlete community.
- Worth noting: R.A.D also launched its new DBE Underwear collection, featuring Danielle Brandon. The line officially drops on November 20.
ICYMI: Justin Medeiros, Josh Bridges, Danielle Brandon, Trista Smith, Aimee Cringle, Lucy Campbell, Jay Crouch, Noah Ohlsen, Jake Douglas, and many others threw around some heavy weights last weekend, competing for some big checks and bragging rights. In typical R.A.D style, the events were held at local affiliates, packed with spectators and participants – the vibes electric, intimate, semi-chaotic, but all in the best possible way.
Tin Slingers: While the challenge began with the pros in Los Angeles, London, and the Gold Coast, it continues with anyone interested.
- R.A.D has partnered with Rogue Fitness and opened the challenge on November 10. It closes on December 5 at 11:59 pm EST.
Promoted as “an underground lifting league for disaffected mutants,” the online description encourages athletes to “grab your crew, hit your local gym, park, church hall, or coliseum, and sling some tin.”
The top male and female pairs worldwide win $2,500 cash plus two custom Rogue Barbells as well as R.A.D shoes from the latest launch.
- Additionally, the gym with the highest number of verified score submissions in each region (US, UK, EU, AUS) wins a $5,000 prize pack from Rogue with three Rogue Echo Bikes, two Rogue barbells, a Rogue bumper plate set, and R.A.D shoes for their coaching staff.
