The 2026 Masters, Teen, and Adaptive CrossFit Games will take place on July 21-26 in San Jose, CA, CrossFit HQ announced this morning.

On the most recent episode of The Sport of Fitness Podcast, Chase Ingraham was joined by WheelWOD’s Kevin Ogar and three-time Teenage CrossFit Games champion Ty Jenkins to discuss details about the upcoming 2026 CrossFit Games season.

The details: Next year’s season, the CrossFit Games 20th anniversary will see all competitive divisions combined once again into one week-long celebration of fitness at the SAP Center.

  • July 21-23, 2026 – Masters CrossFit Games by Legends
  • July 24-26, 2026 – Teenage CrossFit Games by PIT, Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD, and the CrossFit Games (Individual and Team)

Remind me: For the last two years, the Divisional Games have taken place separately – individuals and teams competed in one location, adaptive athletes in another, and age-group athletes in yet another, all on various dates.

We had the chance to chat with Jason Grubb, the six-time Age Group CrossFit Games champion, about the recent announcement.

  • “The Games hit different when we’re all under the same roof. And to be clear, the separate age-group events have been legit – athletes showed up, threw down, and those weekends were great. But there’s something special about a unified Games: the energy is louder, the stakes feel higher, and it feels like the full CrossFit community in one place. For the 20th anniversary season, that’s exactly what I’m fired up about. Line it up – I’ll be ready to get tested again,” Grubb told Morning Chalk Up.

Ogar shares his excitement as well, expressing that this setting, with the entire field competing together, is the best way to celebrate the sport and its competitors.

  • “We’ve really developed a way to showcase these athletes through livestream, Instagram, and I’m so happy to bring this back,” Ogar said.
