At the 2026 HYROX World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden, Red Bull competitors wore Red Bull caps, wristbands, and headbands throughout the weekend.

  • Alex Roncevic, Ida Matilde Steensgaard, Lucy Procter, Jake Dearden, Noah Ohlsen, and Laura Horvath competed across multiple divisions, with Roncevic walking away as the 2026 Elite Doubles Champion alongside partner Tim Wenisch.

But beyond the action on the competition floor, Red Bull showed up in a big way for fans and creators, hosting community challenges, friendly competitions, athlete-led Q&A sessions, and even expert-led masterclasses. We were lucky enough to join the action.

Red Bull 100 Challenge

Our group was treated to an invaluable lesson in wallballs from former HYROX Champion and current world record holder Alex Roncevic. It has become standard for many elite hybrid athletes (and even non-elite athletes) to complete 100 wallballs, the final station at a HYROX race, without a break. Doing so is even a way to earn a coveted “Red Bull 100 Challenge” patch.

  • But even for those who break the wallballs into manageable sets, it can still be the most daunting part of the race. During his lesson, Roncevic shared tips that helped him master the movement, then gave guests a chance to test their skills and offered feedback.

We were invited to a head-to-head wallball challenge, where those brave enough to compete faced off to see who could complete 100 reps the fastest. The winner, Ninikushka Goguadze, received a 100 Euro gift card for HYROX + PUMA gear in the vendor village, along with a limited-edition Red Bull 100 wallball.

Noah Ohlsen was on site competing as well, and he stopped by the Red Bull booth to challenge Roncevic to a head-to-head showdown of their own.

HYROX Readiness Test with Output Sports

Guests of Red Bull were given the privilege of participating in the HYROX Conditioning Test (HCT), a novel, fully standardized assessment designed for HYROX athletes of all levels and coaches.

Users complete a 34-minute, structured, repeatable test to measure aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, and power.

  • Results are tabulated on the Output Sports platform to generate a HYROX Conditioning Score, an objective measure that enables athletes and coaches to benchmark performance, track progress over time, and make informed training decisions.

Essentially, this test allows you to estimate a finishing time and identify where work is needed.

Red Bull Energy Lounge

The overarching experience that remained constant throughout the weekend was access to the Red Bull Energy Lounge, an exclusive box set up at Strawberry Arena.

From the Lounge, watch parties offered the best possible view to cheer on the Elite 15 racers on Thursday and Friday nights. But the space was open every day of competition as a landing pad for conversations, community, and vibes.

The Bottom Line

Between the wallball battles, the workouts and testing, and the energy flowing out of the Lounge all weekend, Red Bull’s presence in Stockholm went well beyond logos on hats and headbands.

It was a reminder that world championship weekends aren’t just about who crosses the finish line first; they’re about the community built around the sport.
