CELSIUS-partnered athletes have now won two straight United States-based ATHX events on back-to-back weekends.

Ty Jenkins and Janie Cheverie competed for the first time in the Mixed Team division and won, following Jessi and Chandler Smith’s first-place finish at ATHX in Miami Beach, Florida. Jenkins and Cheverie now sit second on the worldwide leaderboard, one place above the Smiths.

This was Jenkins’s third time competing at an ATHX and his first with Cheverie. Leading up to the competition, he shared on social media:

  • “This weekend I step back into the ATHX Games arena for the third time. (Janie) and I will be taking on the mixed pairs division in Houston. It’s almost one year to the day from my ATHX debut with (James Sprague) over in Berlin. Safe to say I’ve been enjoying these events, and this won’t be the last one I do.”

Taking the Win in Houston

Not only was this a win for Jenkins and Cheverie, but it was also a clean sweep. They finished first in Strength (832 kg), Endurance (10.999 km), and MetCon X (11:45) to claim the Pro Mixed Pairs title with a perfect three-point event score.

In case you’ve forgotten, here are some quick details on each of the three workouts for the 2026 season in the Mixed Pairs in the Pro division:

Strength:

  • 1 RM strict press
  • 3 RM back squat
  • 5 RM deadlift

The score is the pair’s total weight lifted.

Endurance:

  • Athlete A: Run
  • Athlete B: Row

Athletes swap every time an athlete completes 1K of running. The score is the pair’s total distance covered.

Metcon:

  • 60 cal ski
  • 60 dual dumbbell ground-to-overhead (35 lbs/15 kg)
  • 60m sandbag carry (154 lbs/70 kg – 88 lbs/40 kg)
  • 60 box jump-overs (24 in)
  • 60m dual dumbbell front rack walking lunges (35 lbs/15 kg)
  • 60m burpee broad jumps
  • 60 cal ski

With a 25-minute cap, the pairs split reps as needed, except for the sandbag carry, which is split evenly between the two at 30 meters each.

When we checked in with Jenkins afterward, he told us that he was impressed once again by the professionalism of the ATHX team and the event as a whole.

  • “Being partners with (Janie) was super fun because we are both so competitive and very similar as far as strengths and weaknesses. So on the endurance and metcon we could really lean into our strengths,” Jenkins told the Morning Chalk Up.

CELSIUS on the ATHX Floor

For CELSIUS, back-to-back wins by its partnered athletes are the kind of moment its ATHX partnership is built around. As the global energy drink partner of ATHX Games, the brand remains at the center of fitness, supporting its growth and evolution, from community gyms and run clubs to hybrid competitions.

As the official drink partner of ATHX, CELSIUS is embedded in ATHX events through on-course branding, sampling, giveaways, and athlete-focused activations, all aimed at introducing new audiences to the format as ATHX builds its U.S. footprint.

Next Stop: Long Beach

ATHX Games makes its final U.S. stop of the season in Long Beach, California, on November 7. The roster includes Ellie Turner, a four-time CrossFit Games athlete who finished 13th at the 2026 Games, a career high. This will be Turner’s first ATHX, although she has a HYROX under her belt and looks forward to another later this season.

The Long Beach edition will also feature trainer and founder of Adonis, Bobby Westside, as well as Dancing with the Stars’ Alan Bersten, who will make his ATHX debut.
