North American CrossFit fans eager to watch Day 1 of competition, which took place while most were sleeping, awoke this morning to unfortunate news — the livestream which was archived on YouTube had been removed by YouTube due to copyright infringement.

The audio portion of the stream picked up music playing in the background at the venue. Because the music included popular copyrighted songs, YouTube automatically took down the video, which had more than 70,000 views at the time.

Dubai CrossFit Championship officials have been working for the past several hours to remove the copyrighted audio portions and get the video back up on YouTube so fans can watch. Officials do not have an estimate at this time for when Day 1 video will be made available, however you can catch our recap of Day 1 here.

Day 2 of competition, which kicks off at 8:00 PM Pacific will also be streamed live on YouTube.
