Can Wearable Tech Help The 2020 CrossFit Games?

Recent closures in the state of California have thrown yet another wrench into the gears of the 2020 CrossFit Games.
Even as Dave Castro continues to test events in Aromas with a collection of past individual Games athletes -- most of whom would’ve qualified before cuts to the roster were made back in May -- the growing number of COVID-19 cases in California is a troubling trend. It brings into focus the importance of the safety plans the Games team is developing to properly manage the athlete field in compliance with the state and county’s restrictions.
