Part-Time Coaches Can “Bring Huge Value, too,” Gym Owners Say
How many full-time coaches do you have?
It’s a common question affiliate owners ask each other, the assumption being full-time coaches are the key to having a successful gym long-term, while part-time coaches are a “short term solution,” said Jordan Finlayson, the owner of Iron Forged Athletics in Fayetteville, NC.
- Part-time coaches “do not bring the same energy and aren’t as invested in the long-term growth of the business,” he added.
- Or as Angi Bowman Halvorson put it: Having three full-time coaches “sets us apart (because it means) we have professional staff who do this work for a living,” said the owner of Carlisle CrossFit in PA.
