Sara Sigmundsdottir is arguably one of the most well-liked and cheered for athletes in CrossFit. It’s hard to find someone in the community that doesn’t enjoy watching her on the competition floor. But after tearing her ACL at the beginning of her 2021 season, there have been several questions about if she’s ready to compete, and if so, how competitive is she after her recovery.
After fighting for her life to punch a 2022 CrossFit Games ticket at the Lowlands Semifinal, Sigmundsdottir finished just one spot out of a qualifying position — sending her to the Last Chance Qualifier.
