Make room in your closet folks; the Reebok Nano 9 is here.
Yesterday, Reebok officially launched the Nano 9, which they’re calling the “Nano for all.”
We’re listening, we’re listening.
It’s called the “Nano for all” because Reebok worked closely with CrossFit athletes of all levels from around the world for this version of the original CrossFit shoe. Athletes like Pat Vellner, Tia-Clair Toomey and Neal Maddox but also athletes like professional football coach Jen Welter and crossfitting actress Maddie Curley.
“For the amount and type of training I do, I need a shoe that I don’t have to think about and can trust to offer me the stability, comfort and durability that I need to perform my best,” said Pat Vellner.
What’s so special about ’em?
The Nano 9 has a CrossFit specific sole design for better traction and grip and a wide toe box for comfortable fit and powerful movements. It’s also got Flexweave, everyone’s favorite on rope climb days, for breathability (no more stinky feet) and durability with extra cushion for running days (not everyone’s favorite).
Tal Short, Senior Product Manager of Training Footwear at Reebok, says, “We’re proud to unveil a shoe that delivers directly on the needs we heard from the CrossFit community around the world. As a member of that community myself, I see and experience first-hand the varying demands of these athletes and know how critical having the right footwear is in getting the most out of your workout.”
When can I get a pair?
The Nano 9 will be available in four intro colorways starting June 12 for $130 on Reebok.com/Nano and at select footwear retailers worldwide.
