LSKD burst onto the CrossFit scene when trend-setting athletes like Khan Porter started repping the brand. LSKD is known for their active wear with a streetwear aesthetic. I first gave their products a try at Wodapalooza, mainly because I loved their oversized unisex tees because they are lightweight and so soft.

When I saw the Elixir collection I knew that I needed to give their shorts and new sports bra a try! Don’t worry ladies, this is a review from a woman who has big boobs and massive quads so you know I put these products to the TEST. Here are my key takeaways from working out in the Elixir with pockets collection.

SO soft. Oh my goodness as soon as I took them out of the box I was appalled at how soft they were. The light-weight material was a huge relief since I’m working out in a non-air conditioned gym in South Carolina in July. Aka it is sweat city. I was very pleased with the lack of swamp butt, sure I had some sweat on there but I was able to stop for a coffee on the way home without needing to bring an extra pair of shorts!

They are flattering on all size legs. The contours of the shorts made my leg muscles stand out and the high rise sucked me in, so they seem very versatile for all sizes. The bonded hem made me nervous at first, because it dug into my quads slightly but it stretched and I read a pro tip on their website that the hem is built to be stretched to get the perfect fit around your leg. I ended up loving the hem because when I was doing burpees they weren’t riding up.

I LOVE the pockets. As a CrossFit coach, the struggle is real to remember where the clock remote and my phone are. With these shorts I had them both readily available.

Adjustable bra of your dreams. I saw the thin straps of the Twist Sports Bra and thought, “oh god, no way that holds me up”. Then I realized that the back is convertible from a racerback to traditional over the shoulder straps and the game changed. I converted it to a racerback for my workout for extra support, then adjusted the straps for over the shoulders to wear as an everyday bra under a tank top. I love the versatility of it. This bra is listed as medium support, so no I wasn’t cranking out double-unders but I was able to do burpees comfortably and with support. Would definitely recommend lifting and light workouts in this bra for those that are bigger in the chest region.

The bottom line:the Elixir collection is super soft, comfortable, flattering and can also double as streetwear post-workout. I recommend getting your hands on them before they sell out!
