The Open is officially over. You can grab that beer, slice of pizza, whole pizza, tacos, strong girl margarita or whatever craving you’ve been keeping at bay these past five weeks. And while you enjoy said item, here are eight things that are all the Open feels right now.

1. CrossFit Northern Soul didn’t think 18.5 was hard enough so they had everyone do it for 24 hours, completing it more than 250 times. They did it for charity. But it’s still redic, but so CrossFit too.

Over 250 rounds of Open workout 18.5 later… we finished as we started 24 hours earlier, as a TEAM. What a family. Strength and Community. What else do we need? @sportrelief over £1200 coming your way. #changingcommunities @crossfitgames @crossfit

2. When you knew 18.5 would send you to that ‘dark place’ but you saw BK Gudmundsson actually go there and realized his dark place is like way darker.

3. When this little boy melted our Internet hearts trying to be just like his da da.

4. When Kay Wiese was doing thrusters but really thinking about pizza, cookies and ice cream.

✨TONIGHT!✨ Come witness what critics are calling “the sports spectacle of the century.” 4pm at Invictus Boston watch the B team make their annual comeback tour. There will be blood, sweat, tears, and tiny pancakes. Oh I also heard the A team is ok too? #bleedgreen? . ? @rx.photography . . . #crossfit #crossfitinvictus #invictus #seaofgreen @crossfitinvictus @invictusboston @crossfitgames @crossfit #crossfitopen #crossfitopen2018 #intheopen

 5. When this 5-year-old stole our hearts and also did 18.5 better than we did.

7. When Rebecca found out she has a brain tumor AND FINISHED HER FIRST OPEN ANYWAYS and showed cancer who’s in charge.

This is Rebecca. If you’ve been around Panther City in recent months you’ve no doubt met her and received a compliment, a high five, and smile from her on more than one occasion. She has been a light in the gym and to everyone in our community. We are so proud of all her hard work and we appreciate all the encouragement she brings to our classes. Rebecca has recently been informed she has an “uninvited invader” in the form of a brain tumor. The tumor is about the size of a golf ball and scans are unsure of the consistency of the tumor but we know it needs to be “evicted”. Rebecca is scheduled for brain surgery this Friday, March 30th. This hasn’t stopped her or even slowed her one bit. She showed up on Friday to complete 18.5 and finish up her very first CrossFit Open. Nothing can stop this woman! Please keep her in your prayers, and if you have the desire to help you can donate to help her cover her substantial medical bills for the brain surgery and recovery through the link in our page bio. Thank you for taking the time to read and we hope her story has brought some encouragement to your journey! @rebeccashingledecker #intheopen #crossfit #cfpc #18point5 #crossfitgames @crossfit @crossfitgames @crossfitaffiliates ・・・ ———————— I did a thing….because I still can and I showed this uninvited invader who’s in charge here. My goal was to finish the crossfit open…and I did! Thrusters are AWFUL….but even more awful is being told you can’t do what you love. So even with weakness we got ‘Er done. #oneweekuntilevictionday #shebelievedshecouldsoshedid #screwbraintumors #fightlikeagirl #crossfitstrong
