Further details about the opening event of the 2022 Rogue Invitational have emerged. The competition, set to start tomorrow, will feature athletes competing in one extra event, which they were notified about via email a few weeks prior.

Speculation is the event will take place offsite and feature some type of running and one athlete who was at the briefing and spoke to Morning Chalk Up said they were told they will have to get on a bus at 6:45 AM CT time Thursday morning, and will be driving between 1.5 to two hours away and be gone until 3:00 PM and should bring food, runners and a change of clothes.

Coaches are also not allowed to come.

Remind me: Rogue, which runs October 27-30 at Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock, TX, is being programmed by CrossFit Games veteran Josh Bridges and Chris Spealler

Planning on going? Weekend passes and single-day tickets are still available if you want to catch the action in person in the Lone Star state. And, don’t forget to check out our suggestions for where to eat, drink, play outside, workout and caffeinated

The Morning Chalk Up team will be providing onsite coverage of the competition including athlete interviews, highlights, photos and daily recaps on YouTube channel and Instagram page.
