2023 CrossFit Team Quarterfinals Test Descriptions

The 2023 CrossFit Games Team Quarterfinal workouts are officially released. Teams have two 24-hour periods to complete and submit all four tests before competition wraps up this Friday.

Score submission schedule:

  • Thursday, March 30: Registration and Workouts 1 and 2 due at 12PM PT
  • Friday, March 31: Workouts 3 and 4 due at 12PM PT

Leaderboard Updates: Similar to the the Individual Quarterfinals, the leaderboard will be “blind” until one hour after each submission window closes. The leaderboard will be finalized on or before Monday, April 10, per the 2023 CrossFit Games Rulebook, section 2.09.

Scorecards and Test Descriptions:

Workout 1

15-minute AMRAP:

10 synchro front squats (all 4 athletes)
3 25-ft (7.62m) handstand walks each (alternating reps, MM/FF pairs)

W: 125 lb (56kg)
M: 185 lb (83kg)

Workout 2

Starting at 0:00, every 3 minutes for 18 minutes, alternating between MM and FF pairs:

Row 400 meters (athletes on their own rower)
10 synchro shoulder-to-overheads
Max rope climbs in time remaining (1 rope, 1 athlete working at a time)

W: 125 lb (56kg)
M: 185 lb (83kg)

Workout 3A

For time, 1 athlete at a time, F/M/F/M:

10 bar muscle-ups
20 deadlifts
30 GHD sit-ups
20 deadlifts
10 bar muscle-ups

W: 185 lb (83kg)
M: 275 lb (125kg)

Time cap: 25 minutes

Workout 3B

As soon as the second male athlete completes his last muscle-up in Test 3A, or the 25-minute time cap is reached, the team will have 5 minutes to complete as many reps as possible of:

Clean and jerks

W: 185 lb (83kg)
M: 275 lb (125kg)

Workout 4

7-minute AMRAP (M/F), followed by 7-minute AMRAP (M/F):

1,2,3,4, etc., 50-ft. shuttle runs (15.24m)
2,4,6,8, etc., synchro dumbbell thrusters

W: 35lb dumbbells (15kg)
M: 50lb dumbbells (22.5kg)

Time cap: 14 minutes
